Reading candlestick charts to analyse price behaviour.
My review
I don't recommend it! And not because it's bad. As a study base, it's good. It explains candlestick patterns in an organised way and works as reference material.
The problem is who's reading it. A chart pattern on its own doesn't hold up for shit. It needs context, volume, an understanding of the asset and a dose of market feel that only comes with screen time and with losing money. A layperson picks up this book and wrecks their own life. For someone who already knows the market well, it adds little. It becomes an illustrated glossary.
So it sits in an odd place: useful for one specific kind of reader, someone who already has some grounding and wants to systematise the vocabulary, and dangerous, in the bad way, in the hands of someone who understands very little.
